Autumn in the Mountains

We are enjoying the beautiful changing of the leaves here in the Southeastern Kentucky mountains. If you have never seen the mountains this time of year, you really should make the trip. The hills really show off in the Autumn, and one of the very best ways to see this area is out on the trails. Riding a four wheeler or Side by Side has quickly become one the leading activities around this area....and for great reasons! The best reason being more fun with your friends and family! With the newer styles, whole families can go out on trails now. There is an ATV for all size riders and the quickly popular "side by sides" let you bring everyone along, as well as a cooler for lunch later!

If you ride a UTV (also called a side by side), you can take a passenger with you or even the kids too! There are many options to choose from with all three of our brands of side by sides. Just released in October, Kawasaki just came out with their own four seater, the 2012 Teryx4. It is the hottest thing to hit the UTV market from Kawasaki this year! The all new Teryx4 vehicles are due to arrive any day in the store and we are taking reservations for them now!

The very popular Polaris line offers UTVs that offer space for four riders as well, but Polaris really knows how to bring the speed into the market. A local favorite is the Polaris RZR line up. Whether it's the speed of the RZR XP 900, or maybe you would like the all new trail size Ranger RZR 570, or taking the whole crew out in the Ranger RZR 4 for the day...Polaris knows how to pack a punch!

If you are more of an ATV, four wheeler, type rider then you need to take a look at some of the newest from Yamaha for 2012. Yamaha has Grizzly tough ATVs that work hard and play harder! If you are looking for comfort while out on the trail, try one of the Touring models from Polaris. Kawasaki introduced a new mid-size ATV in October for 2012; the all new Brute Force 300 is the perfect size for a wide range of riders and at a great introduction price range. Wow, Summer flew by!

Wow, the summer of 2011 really flew by...but it must have been because we were so very busy here at the store (and out of the store too!)! However, busy is a good thing when it comes to business.
A little recap, we started the summer off with a Polaris Summer Sales Event here at the store at the end of June. Then came July, and we were off to the Polaris trade show in Nashville and it did not disappoint. The new 2012 models unveiled at the show were amazing and the custom jobs on some of the RZRs were inspiring! (Got lots of great ideas if you are interested!!) They also had two great musical acts perform....The Zac Brown Band and Justin Moore, and they were incredible! All three of our brands (Yamaha, Polaris, and Kawasaki) released their new 2012 lineups and we are thrilled with some of the new upgrades to the vehicles. Faster, stronger, better seems to be the theme with all of them this year!
However, I think the most fun we had all summer was at the annual Crockettsville event here in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky in August. It was the fourth annual Crockettsville Charity Concert and Trail Ride this year, and it was a huge success! YPK Motorsports is a very proud sponsor of this event every year and we are continually pleased with its success. The entire weekend raises money to support the Buckhorn Children's Home in Buckhorn, KY. We had a blast at the huge YPK tent talking to all of the folks about the Polaris vehicles that we brought with us to show off. The trail ride on Sunday was fantastic. With all of that craziness, it is no wonder summer flew by. We were blessed to have had a fantastic summer business wise, and we are excited about the Fall riding season that is creeping up on us in the next couple of weeks. It is time to change the oil, buy cool weather gear, and get ready for the trails. Camping and hunting season is here and we have some awesome Camo vehicles in stock that will get the job done and do it with style. Camo is HOT this year!! Now, New for 2012, Polaris even lets the kids get in on the camo action....and it is too cute! Polaris has the only kid sized UTV on the market with the RZR 170....and this year, Camo is king of all of the trails, big and small! We have one of these little things in the showroom and it is getting lots of attention!
Maybe you are a Yamaha Grizzly fan instead...we like this 2012 Yamaha Grizzly 700 FI Auto 4x4 in Camo. Or perhaps you prefer Kawasaki and need some room for the whole gang AND that big buck you are going to bag. Maybe the 2012 Kawasaki Mule 4010 is more your style...and yes, it comes in CAMO! Can you see a pattern here? If it comes in Camo from one of our brands....we have it and you need it! The prey won't see ya coming and whatever you choose to ride....you will do it in style.
